Hello,

We have a current project that we had planned on using SRC 200's for but we have hit a bit of a snag.

We have 1 x AC to control which is fine but in this application they require two temperature sensors to be installed.

Do you have a solution of this?

Thanks and regards,
Marlon

Hello,

I have an application requiring a basic controller to achieve a Night Purge Cycle.

1 x Outside temperature sensor
1 x Inside temperature sensor
1 x DO for damper control
1 x DO for AC lockout signal (can use the damper signal but a separate output would be nice)

FD
Night Purge Cycle to operate within an set time schedule (adj)
If Outside to inside temperature differential is > S.P. (adj)
And Inside temperature is > S.P. (adj)
Then Night Purge = Active
Night Purge Cycle can be Manually overridden to Active/Inactive

Hello Marlon,

With SRC-200 Controllers you can use two external temperature sensors with RI2 option. You can have two control loops for temperature
- Up to 4-Stgae Main Control Loop
- Auxiliary Temperature Control Loop

In terms of the night purge, the device does not have software logic for that currently. The philosophy being that typically the SRC200 controllers are networked to the BMS via BACnet or Modbus. As typically there are many rooms (=SRC200 controllers) in a typical installation, it makes better sense for the BMS to send the night purge signal. This is how we have provided the solution to some OEM customers as well.

However if you have application where you need night purge in multiples of single controller installations, then it may make sense to fit outdoor temperature sensor and to do Night purge locally. If this is the case we would need to modify the controller operation.

Thank you. Br, Jukka
